ah.. it is somewhat easy to use yes but it took me about a week to learn basic things and get to a perfect render of what I wanted. now it would take less than a day

yeah mate, I'd recommend getting C4D for graphic designers as it opens up a very useful window of abilities. after a bit of a headache to read the lack of tuts and figure out the basics.. you'll be able to create some amazing renders of objects. Creating shadows and lighting is amazing in C4D, so perfect
